"Trade Liberalization and Manufacturing Performance: The Uruguayan Case" provides empirical evidence on the impact of increased openness on a small developing country. Moreover, in this work various aspect of openness are analyzed. Not only trade liberalization but also the impact of increased foreign direct investments inflows in the country and its effects on several aspects of firm performance.

Adriana Peluffo is Associate Professor of International Economics. She holds a degree as Engineer in Agriculture, a MSc in International Economics and a PhD in Applied Economics, University of Antwerp, Belgium.Her current research deals with the impact of globalization of firms performance and labor markets.
