This looks at Protective Custody Inmates. How protective Custody inmates are different in each state. It talks about the costs, different type of housing, how inmates are treated. It also discusses the unethical treatment of protective custody inmates along with how much of a strain the job has on correctional officers. It compares the difference between protective custody inmates and segregation inmates.

My name is Allen Stone. I worked in the correctional field for several years. I worked at several jails in the state of Kentucky including two prisons. I dealt with several inmates throughout my correctional career. I'm also recently paralyzed since 2012 with a disease called Guillian Barre Syndrome. This helped me in my continuing recovery.
