It also discusses the unethical treatment of protective custody inmates along with how much of a strain the job has on correctional officers. It compares the difference between protective custody inmates and segregation inmates.

My name is Allen Stone. I worked in the correctional field for several years. I worked at several jails in the state of Kentucky including two prisons. I dealt with several inmates throughout my correctional career. I'm also recently paralyzed since 2012 with a disease called Guillian Barre Syndrome. This helped me in my continuing recovery.
