It is important for distance learning institutions to be well prepared before designing and implementing any new technology based learning system to justify the investment and reduce the failure risk. This can be achieved through systematically assessing the m-readiness of the institute, students, faculty and staff. This book proposes an m-readiness assessment process and describes various activities required to develop a suitable m-readiness assessment model to determine readiness index.
