Increasing prices of fossil fuels and awareness of global warming have drawn attention towards the use of Solar PV Cells as an alternative source of electric power. Experimental determination of voltage-current characteristic of a solar panel is done in this experimental study and it provides first one is, the effect of shading on PV module and second one is, to enhance the power of series and parallel connection of photovoltaic module under shading condition using diode and this diode can be worked as a by pass diode under the series connection of PV module. The power improves of solar photovoltaic system under shading condition with help of bypass diode in series connected PV module. This study also evaluates that maximum power can be obtained from parallel connected solar PV modules.
