The study is related to risk involved in construction projects which converse about risk associated with projects and the factors which affects overall performance of the construction projects. Research also describes its likelihood and impact on construction projects.Risks and other uncertainties can cause losses, which leads to increase costs and time delays, both during the project and at the end. In current scenario, Indian construction sectors are increasingly growing in value and complexity.Risk is very common in construction sectors but as compare to other cities of India like (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore) it is being observed that they are much more for Indore, and to mitigate the effects of risk this study emphasized towards risk management process. The steps which are involved in risk management process are Risk Identification, Risk Analysis, Risk Evaluation and Risk Treatment by giving appropriate remedial measures.A questionnaire survey was conducted with the officials of various Construction organizations situated across Indore city of Madhya Pradesh of India.The results are represented on the basis of Frequency of Risk, Severity of Risk and Importance Index.
