This book provides empirical findings regarding private accommodation services and customer satisfaction. It is inspired by privatisation of accommodation service provision in Uganda and indeed in most of the countries. It discusses accommodation service quality requirements necessary to generate customer satisfaction and loyalty. Private accommodation provision is a business in many higher education institutions that is heavily dependent on customer satisfaction in a free market system. Reliability, security and tangibles were found to be significant contributors of customer satisfaction. Students are objective consumers whose interests should be considered for accommodation business progress and growth. Capacity should be built among the employees at private accommodation facilities or hostels by retraining them in relevant skills to provide a quality service that has value for money. Management should periodically monitor the private accommodation facilities or hostels and make control for good accommodation service provision. This is a book you cannot miss reading.

Joshua Mugambwa holds a Master's in Governance and Development (University of Antwerp, Belgium) and a Master's in Management Studies (Uganda Management Institute, Uganda). He is a PhD student at Makerere University.. He has been a Lecturer at Makerere University Business School for over ten years.
