In this book the reader gains insights into management methods intended to meet the demands of Global Project Management (GPM). Joanne Huang presents ideas on how Project Managers can develop their own possibilities for action and optimize their management skills for projects in other countries. The main task of project management in global projects is to effect successful cooperation amongst multinational teams from diverse cultural backgrounds and at the same time, to make optimum use of all available resources within the whole project environment.
Autorenporträt
Joanne Huang was born in Taiwan and speaks native Mandarin and Cantonese. She works as project consultant and coordinator for German and Chinese companies. She is an intercultural trainer and coach, and also partner in the Consultancy Huang+Jaumann in Augsburg. After graduating as Bachelor of Business Administration, she worked in IT branches in Taiwan before coming to Germany in 1992. In Augsburg she qualified as an economist and became self-employed in 2001. Since 2003 she arranges seminars throughout the whole of Germany. She is author of various publications and essays on the diversity of Chinese and German approaches to business.
