Modelling and simulation are important to obtain research results without the cost and time spent creating working prototypes. The term modelling and simulation refers to computer simulation with an emphasis on modelling industrial systems, especially real maintenance activities within the company and executing the model obtained. Since the maintenance task is a complex one, it requires modeling and simulation to be solved.

Dr. Maryam GALLAB is a Doctor-Engineer in industrial engineering. She obtained her doctorate degree from Engineers Mohammadia School (EMI), University Mohammed V, Rabat, Morocco, and from Mines ParisTech School, PSL University, France. Her research interest focuses on complex industrial system, modeling & Simulation, risk analysis and Industry 4.0.
