Research has shown that international organizations with many players from diverse cultural backgrounds often encounter major obstacles. In most cases, plans of international organizations tend out to be unrealistic, schedules are hard to meet, results turn out different from expected. Perhaps, part of the difficulties developed and dealt with in mono-cultural context, have been uncritically applied to the international environment. The purpose of this book is to explain the nature of some of the challenges faced by international organizations in managing employees from diverse cultures.
