The purpose of this work is to find out if the company Gostilna in motel Pri Lesniku is in possession of the resources needed to satisfy all of the six dimensions of wellness as defined by Dr. Hettler, enabling its admittance into the holistic niche of tourism. The work consists of two parts. The clarification in the theoretical part of the terms health, wellness, health & wellness tourism, and holistic tourism serves as a predisposition for the understanding of the practical part, wherein the new image of the company Gostilna in motel Pri Lesniku is examined based on three examples of good practice. The evaluation of the examples of good practice is based on ten specially selected criteria and the six dimensions of wellness, and was of the utmost importance in answering the research question (Q1) and the sub-question (Q2): What resources are needed to create a holistic wellness program, (Q1) and what would such a program look like based on a practical example? (Q2) The knowledge acquired from this will serve as a guide for the creation of a holistic wellness program for the company Pri Lesniku d.o.o.
