The book examines the concept of Diversity Management applied on the current topic integration of refugees. Diversity Management is a concept for the right use of social diversity in companies to compete in a global and fast changing market. The concept facilitates social relationships between employees and enables a productive environment where the whole range of different skills and competencies from diverse employees are well used to benefit in terms of profitability and workplace environment. The book address both parties, the companies which should benefit from the diversity of employees available in Austria through the refugee movements, and the refugees who should benefit thanks to a better integration through the application of Diversity Management in Austrian companies. The book is based on a theoretical framework, whereby all relevant terms are defined and the insights from the related literature are explained. An empirical study is done in the form of qualitative research.

Sophie Bachler was born and raised in Salzburg. She studied in Canada, Taiwan and Austria and worked in many different European countries. Her international background influenced the desicion of researching in the field of Diversity Management.
