This book attempts to give an empirical explanation of the increasing intra-industry trade (IIT) between Kenya and the East African Community (EAC) trading partners. The main objective was to establish the determinants of IIT between Kenya and the EAC. Using modified standard gravity model with IIT index as the dependent variable under panel data methodology. Test for unit root and cointegration leads to estimation of panel error correction model under random effects and fixed effects.

Dr. Ouma is a Lecturer and Consultant from the School of Economics, Kenyatta University, Kenya. He holds PhD (Economics) from Kenyatta University, a Distiction in MA (Economics) from The University of Mauritius and First Class Honours in BA (Economics) from Kenyatta University. Dr. Ouma has also done courses in accounting (CPA).
