The book entitled as "Growth and Development of Horticulture Sector in Jammu and Kashmir" includes area, production and productivity of major horticulture crops in the state of Jammu and Kashmir for a period of 25 years (1991-92 to 2015-16). The book also includes the decomposition analysis of major horticulture crops and some suggestions for improving the productivity of horticulture crops in the state

Rather Tajamul Islam is pursuing Ph.D. in Economics. He is best known for writing articles and research papers in reputated journals and presenting papers in national and international conferences including "ROLE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONTECHNOLOGY IN HORTICULTURE DEVELOPMENT" which won the best paper award at international conference.
