Since late 1970s, China has experienced and achieved a remarkable economic growth among the developing countries worldwide, and has become the second largest economy from Year 2010. During this progress, Chinese State-Owned Enterprise (SOEs) have played a significant role in its economy, and spanning almost every economic sector. Nowadays, there are many criticism and concern about the overall issues of SOEs inefficiency, corporate governance, Information Disclosure, ownership and state-owned assets, and even corruption, etc. The further reform of SOEs need be implemented on relevant areas, such as Mixed Ownership, corporate governance, Information Disclosure, social and private investors interest, and so on. Chinese government has attempted to apply the Mixed Ownership Reform to improve the performance of its SOEs, and this book is attempting to figure out the current status and future potential of China's SOEs, as well as the compulsory systemetic and policy conditions.
