During the pandemic, social imbalances and structural injustices came to a head, including professional disadvantage, which was significantly promoted by the unequal distribution of care work. This book brings together testimonies from women* working in science and academia about their experiences during the pandemic at German universities, contributing to the visibility of taboo and individualised experiences. Thus, the precarious conditions that intensified during the pandemic are made clear.
