Beschreibung
'The Legal Asset Protected by Section 176 of the German Criminal Code' The dissertation focuses on the legal asset ('Rechtsgut') protected by section 176 of the German Criminal Code (sexual child abuse). Usually, in German criminal law, it is assumed that the legal asset of this provision is the 'undisturbed development' or the 'right of sexual self-determination' of the child. The author shows the dogmatic problems of these conceptions and proposes the 'sexual integrity' of the child as the legal asset protected by section 176 of the German Criminal Code.
