Beschreibung
Social bots, fake news, hate speech - how can these enemies of free speech and democratic discourse be kept in check? The contributions in this volume shed light on the regulatory tool box of media and communications law and illustrate that a more coherent orientation towards the structural transformation of the digital public sphere is needed. By comparing different regulatory instruments, they also develop innovative legal approaches with a view to enabling free opinion formation.
