This book is intended for students in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration taking up the subject in Law on Obligations and Contracts. The book was simplified to be able for the students to grasp and understand easily the concept and principle of the subject and apply the same for their future endeavors. The subject is very important for the business students as it discusses the basic principle of obligations and contracts.

Dr. Vicente Q. Solteo, Jr. obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration major in Accounting from the University of the Philippines - Visayas, Tacloban City in 1993. He is currently teaching at the Biliran Province State University (formerly Naval State University), Naval, Biliran, Philippines. He finished his Bachelor of Laws in 2010.
