Globalization has been a phenomenon which touches every aspects of human life. (i.e. cultural, political and economical). As a result, it is viewed as a process that brings both positive and negative impacts on such aspects. This book, therefore, tries to identify the impact of globalization on African Cultures assessed from intercultural perspectives. The result of this work is vital in giving information for any concerned professionals whose interest is on globalization, culture, intercultural philosophy.

Yonas Mekonnen was born on 29 october 1983 in Wereillu (Kabie), South Wollo. He attended his undergraduate study at Addis Ababa University and received his BA degree in Philosophy. He continued his study and received MA degree in Philosophy from Addis Ababa University. He is now a lecturer at Wollo University. Dessie, Ethiopia.
