This intervention seeks to advance academic discourse on the concept of privatization with special emphasis on its implementation architecture in Nigeria. This is with a view to logically identifying and proffering capacity or autonomy boosting measures in the operations of the BPE in Nigeria. The telecommunications sector is used as a relevant case study to enhance the depth and focus of the research.

Ibrahim Ogirima Salawu bagged his first and second degrees in the field of Political Science from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He also holds a PhD in the same field from the International Islamic University, Malaysia. He currently teaches Political Science at the department of Politics and Governance, Kwara State University, Malete, Nigeria.
