It is said that the backpacker is the pioneer visitor to a destination and in therefore undertaking initiates the tourism development process. Backpack tourism industry is a many-sided combination of many different travel sectors, with accommodation ranging from five star resorts to home stays. Even though there are a number of information sources and types of information available, basically they serve the high end tourism sector which benefits from tourism industry which serves rich people and who have the monetary capital to run large business.
