The steady proliferation of information over the internet has changed the way we handle information. The steady rise of online and electronic medium of information storage and retrieval has culminated into a theme we now term literature explosion. This has made access difficult to a wide range of users. It is owing to the above that this study seeks to find the role of information resources availability and accessibility on user satisfaction. The survey research design was adopted and questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection. data was presented in frequency, Tables and percentages. The finding reveals low level of user satisfaction, inadequacy and poor currency of available information resources. The study concluded that, no library can be self-sufficient in satisfying users needs also, the poor currency and inadequacy of available information resources has led to poor user satisfaction. The study recommended that current and adequate information resources should be acquired to increase the level of user satisfaction. The findings should help professionals in the field of library and information technology to be more user-focused in their service delivery.
