Communication represents the fundamental way of psychosocial interaction of individuals, achieved by means of symbols and meanings of social generalized in order to obtain stability of the group or of behavior changes of individual or group. Social learning theory has shown that communication and socialization are done best in sports activities. According to specialists, practicing physical activities or sports influences youth personality and creates positive effects on the body and mind, being an ideal setting in the developing of young people and social integrate them in groups. Contemporary sport is a complex phenomenon, and the flow of information into management system requires a real management process, conducted through various forms of communication (in physical education and sports management). The book, through its contents, seeks to complete the theoretical material published in the area of communication, socialization, and social integration through sport and physical education.

Prof. Dr. Pomohaci Marcel has more than 20 years of teaching Communication and social integration through sport in higher education at "Lucian Blaga" University from Sibiu. Sopa Ioan Sabin has done his PhD Thesis on communication and social integration through motor activities and has experience in improving socialization through sport
