Kinanthropometry is a science that deals with the structural and functional aspects of human beings, athletes and non-athletes. Physical performance and structure are important factors of all competitive sports. The top level performance is not ensured, if the kinanthropometric characteristics of sportspersons do not correspond to the mechanical aspects of the event concerned. It is recognized that tallness and heaviness is useful in some events maintaining momentum and in some events it is in inverse trend. Physique, which generally refers to the shape, size and form of a person, is of course influenced by the genetic components and environment. This book, therefore,provides information on body structure, body composition and physical performance characteristics of the female throwers and jumpers. The female throwers and jumpers are analyzed. This analysis should help to understand the kinanthropometric and physical performance characteristics of the female throwers and jumpers and should be especially useful to coaches, trainers and sport scientists to spot young talent and to make training programs
