The book analyses the concept of Consumer Protection at International and local level and at the same time linking it with the telecommunication sector in Tanzania with focus on Laws, Policy and Regulations. It further identifies gaps in existing Telecommunication laws, policy and regulations and assesses the implication of the gaps which the telecommunication operators take advantage of and in the end consumers end up carrying the burden. Primarily the Book is intended to reveal the gaps left and recommends the ways of improving so that the telecommunication consumer in Tanzania can be well protected in the end.

Consolatha is an Advocate based in Tanzania Mainland and currently working as a Lawyer in one of Tanzania Leading Financial Institution. She has more than 6 years of working experience as a Lawyer in various sectors like Telecommunication and Banking. She also holds a Masters Degree in Telecommunication and Information Technology Law.
