Beschreibung

Railway transport is the most preferred mode of transport in many cities across the world. Railway stations therefore have a critical role in giving the commuters access to the railway transport system. Railway stations have evolved to engulf both node and place functions. With plans underway to create enhanced mobility in Nairobi through the establishment of rail links, this study seeks to evaluate the role of the new railway stations being established in meeting urban mobility and community needs with Syokimau railway station as the case study.
