The aim of this book is to shed some light and provide insights in two areas: qualitative research and Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) in a developing country. It also attempts to provide some directions for future research in the TVET field which should be useful for researchers and policy makers. This book has been written based on original academic research. It is hoped that this book will serve as a useful reference for Masters and PhD students, novice researchers and professionals in social science who are intending to carry out qualitative research. Damodar Khanal holds a PhD in Education and MSc in Educational Research from the University of Manchester and is a Campaigner for Save the Children UK. He has an MBA from the University of Aberdeen UK, an MSc in Natural Resource Management from Pokhara University, and an MA in Sociology from Tribhuvan University Nepal.
