Private Supplementary Tuition, critically analyses the shadow education system that is in an increasing trend globally despite the fact that some Governments such as Kenya have tried to ban its use in learning institutions. The book critically examines the factors driving the need for private supplementary in learning institutions, among students and their parents & Teacher's continual support for its use. The book rationally and logically analyses the ban policy in Kenya, challenges facing its implementations and the implications of the ban policy and unregulated use of private supplementary tuition in the promotion of equity and quality of education. Mr. Ayieko George Mogaka holds a Bachelor of Education (Science) from Egerton University, M.ed in Comparative Issues in Education from the University of Nairobi, Kenya and Currently pursuing a PhD in Comparative&International Education.He teaches Mathematics & Chemistry at High school level and Educational Foundations courses at University level.
