A small tour of the origin and foundation of the Rural Normal Schools, their ideology and mysticism. This work intends to be a critical and reflexive analysis on teacher training. In it, the author proposes a radical change from the ideological point of view of Rural Teacher Training Schools, focusing efforts on an academic ideology for the achievement of educational excellence as a result of quality training of future teachers in which high professional preparation will transform the future of the country through education.It is important to fully visualize a metamorphosis of the educational system in which the references and objectives are decisive for the actions of the training institutions, imposing high expectations generates high results, it is necessary to leave in history the behaviors that, for these new times, are anachronistic and unproductive, the high preparation must transform the practice. A vision towards the holistic education applied to the teacher training in which the most important thing is "education", avoiding reductionist conceptions and practices of the approaches, existing educational paradigms.
