Mentoring has become an important concept in Teacher Education and this book highlights how these concepts are being developed in Zimbabwe. An analysis of the theories of mentoring and teacher development were discussed before exposing the current mentoring practices being implemented in Zimbabwean colleges, universities and schools. Practical activities were also attached to each chapter in order to give practicing teachers a chance to put into practice the concepts learnt in each chapter. Mr. John Mpofu is a Senior lecturer and Program coordinator in the Department of Media Studies at Zimbabwe Open University, Bulawayo Regional Campus. Dr. Lillie Beth Hadebe is a highly accomplished educationist, with vast experience in teaching and tutoring. Mrs. Sibongile Ncube is an accomplished educationist and lecturer at a Teacher's College.
