This book delves into finance and investments, as applied to South African markets. The book looks inot equity risk premium and the forecastability of the equity market. Mergers and acquisitions and shareholder-value creation, as driven by black-economic-empowerment activities in South Africa. Prof Mthuli Ncube is the Chief Economist & VP at the African Development Bank Group.He was Lecturer in Finance at the LSE (UK), Dean and Professor of Finance at Wits Business School and Faculty of Commerce, Law and Management, University of the Witwatersrand. He holds a PhD in Mathematical Finance from Cambridge University(UK)and is well published.
