This book provides a broad based introduction to Learning Environment in Colleges. Beginning with an introduction to the significance of education, quality of education and different views of national policies of education. It focuses the meaning of learning and elaborates about physical and psycho-social learning environment which includes various dimensions. It discusses different review of related literature. The book covers methods and procedures as population, sample and about various tools which are helpful for learning environment and also will help students to develop the skills required to work on research problem. This book emphasizes on the present situation of government and private colleges in respect of basic and additional infrastructure, academic facilities. It also included administrative style of principals, student teacher relationship and negenthropy.

Dr. Shafayat Ahmad is a senior Asst. Prof. at MANUU, CTE, Darbhanga have been educated from JMI, New Delhi and awarded Ph.D in Education from NOU, Patna.He is also Principal I/c of KMMS, Darbhanga He has been teaching since last 12 years. He has supervised M.Ed students, published several research papers and attended various seminars.
