In line with the attention given to quality education, the importance of instructional leadership practice is considered as a major vehicle for the change and educational development. success of schools is highly related to the effectiveness of school principals to realize prized values of society through pertaining instructional leadership functions as effective as possible. However, in implementing the instructional leadership, school principals may face challenges. In this regard, to overcome the challenges faced by principals and improve instructional leadership, there might be strategies used by principals. Therefore, this study assess instructional leadership practice and challenges in secondary schools.

Also, worked as D/General Manager in BG Micro Finance, General Director in BG Management training Institute, College Dean and Assistance Lecturer in Asossa TVET College, and Assistance Graduate in Debrebrehan and Wollo Universities, Ethiopia.
