This book is about inquiry-based learning in Eritrean elementary Natural science classroom. The introductory part is all about the meaning, characteristics and importance of Inquiry-based learning. It deals whether the elementary natural science textbooks textbooks allows to do inquiry learning in classrooms or not. It also deals whether the teaching-learning processes in classrooms, the type of resources used, the way of assessment are in line with inquiry method. In addition it deals whether natural science teachers are getting the necessary training or not that will help them to apply this new method. Finally it deals with the recommendations that will help curriculum developers, teachers and policy makers on how to include inquiry processes in textbooks and classrooms.

I have M.Phil in Environmental Education from the University of Western Cape in South Africa (2000) and B.Sc in Biology from the University of Asmara (1989). I have twenty seven years of teaching experience. I have participated in various publications, writing researches, preparing books for teaching and learning, seminars and workshops.
