The book is an exposition of the intricacies of elections management in Nigeria's grassroots politics. Elections irregularities in the forms of ballot box snatching, kidnapping of election officials, physical and spiritual intimidation, and massive rigging, money bags politics amongst others are typical examples. The book noted that desperation for political power, institutionalization of corruption, inadequate voter education, lack of constitutionalism amongst others were the contributory factors.
