Dear Reader, This academic research study named ''Distance Education and Quality Assurance in European Higher Education'' is consisting of 3 main chapters.The first chapter gives detailed information on distance education such as its models, methods, and management.The second chapter deals with quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area and the last chapter provides information on higher education in Republic of Turkey.

He was born on 30th December in Turkey as the only son of Nesrin & Nejat Keçetep. He graduated from Hacettepe University,department of English translation & interpretation. Achieved Master's degree from University of Kassel / Germany in the field of higher education research & development.He is a Ph.D candidate at Hacettepe University.
