Beschreibung
This book was written as a result of the political and economic changes with social and cultural consequences that arose with the accession of Romania to the European Union. This accession process has brought about a number of advantages that our country benefited from following the integration into a larger and highly developed region, such as the structural instruments made available to Romania to achieve the objective of economic and social convergence. The work starts from the premise that there is a correlation between the degree of maturity of the project management in the Romanian society, generally within South Muntenia Development Region in particular, and the results obtained in the management of the European funds. We aimed at presenting the theoretical concepts, identifying sources of funding through the European funds allocated for the programming period 2007 - 2013, as well as for the programming period 2014-2020, objectives and results obtained as a result of the implementation of projects in the education sector, the impact on the beneficiaries of the projects funded to identify best practices and formulate proposals to help improve project management.
