Thomas Lohrer hat sich nach einer gärtnerischen Ausbildung zum Baumschuler und dem Gartenbau-Studium in Osnabrück und Hannover ganz dem Thema Schaderreger und Nützlinge an Pflanzen gewidmet. Er ist seit über 25 Jahren als Mitarbeiter an der Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf in Freising tätig.
