This book summarizes the pricing of electricity that involves detailed description by breaking down price in to variety of parts corresponding to the concerned factors such as generation, transmission congestion and other constraints in restructured power system. The full information of price can be used not only to improve efficient usage of congestion management but also to design a reasonable pricing structure of power system, or to provide economic signals for generation or transmission investment.

Yudhishthir Pandey received B.E. degree from the Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Eng., KIET, Ghaziabad, India in 2002, and M.Tech. degree from the Center of Energy Studies, IIT, Delhi, India in 2011. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, REC Ambedkar Nagar.
