Power loss reduction is a critical issue in Electrical grid system. The large share of the loss is at distribution system, this large share of loss can be minimized by adjusting the load within different time because amount of loss at a particular time will not be similar at different time. Therefore, network optimization can be applied by Feeder reconfiguration for loss minimization. The best way to reconfigure a distribution system is performed using Binary Particle Swarm intelligence technique.

Samuel Kefale was born on 14 march 1987 in Ethiopia and got his BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Msc in Power System Engineering from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He is a lecturer in Arba Minch University, Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering since 2011.
