Beschreibung
The work features fluid bed process and its possible applications in different engineering processes. The author's main interest is heat and mass transfer. The work provides principles of calculation as well as the sources of essential data. It presents the most important types of drying units with their advantages and drawbacks and offers guidance in selecting the right draying units for different processes. Moreover, it promotes innovative air-cleaning solutions with the use of fluid bed process and a special type of grid invented by Polish engineer J. Majkowski with the author's co-operation.

The author is Doctor of Engineering with 40-year experience as an engineer and inventor, specializing in heat and mass transfer processes. He put into operation more than 150 drying units and different production lines. He patented 14 of his works. He was granted Master of Technology national award and Low energy consumption dryer national award.
