Batteries have been in use for many decades. Since these are portable, they can be used in wrist watches to wall clocks and hearing aids to wheelchairs. These batteries applications are not limited and they can be used in all appliances where electric power is required, for e.g., computers, toys, LEDs, etc., In the study, Bio-waste battery, an electrochemical cell was used to generate low-level electricity from bio-waste like food and fruit wastes.
