The removal of suspended solids from wastewater is considered to be one of the most important topics in wastewater treatment plants as it represents a major subject in the quality control of the wastewater being produced especially for the countries located in the Middle East due to the nature of the wastewater produced there. This book offers a new method to accelerate the removal process of the suspended solids by using the electromagnetic field. This method produced a major improvement in the time required for the wastewater to remain in the treatment units which will decrease the time needed for treatment process and make it more efficient.

The authors participated in publishing of a number of researches and reports regarding the environmental status in Iraq, participated in numbers of international committies dealt with the environmental status in Iraq. Worked as international advisors for the UN in Iraq regarding the urgent national environmental issues.
