Beschreibung
This is the second book written by the main author to be published under Lambert Academic Publishing, Latvia, European Union. The book is also concerned with the fracture mechanics of rubber, but this time it is focused only on Natural Rubber Latex. Malaysia is a leading exporter of dipped latex rubber goods in particular Natural Rubber Latex gloves such as examination and surgical rubber gloves used in medical applications. These rubber gloves serve as protection by providing protective barrier against viruses and unwanted contamination. The importance of high tear resistance and high resistance to tensile failure are undoubtedly the two very useful parameters to consider in any medical dipped goods. I hope that this book provides useful information to the latex dipped goods rubber industry. This book is also applicable as a reference for lecturers, researches and students at higher learning institutions. The book was written based on my own collections and compilations of research work in the past and present.
