This book on the Environmental Hydraulics of the River Ganga is compiled in total seven chapters. The River Ganga is life line of India originates from the Himalaya. This is going to be helpful for the professionals working in the water sector such as engineers, researchers policy makers and social worker.The first chapters deals with its origin and segments followed by its hydrological and hydraulic features. The other chapters deals with its environmental economic features and the action plan at the national level for the enhancement of the water quality of the River Ganga.
