This book demonstrates the practical implementation of a sustainability performance evaluation management system (SPEMS) for individual industry organizations and their Network of Interested Partners (NIP). NIP is a new concept for supply chains which involves forming mutually beneficial partnerships among commercial organizations and their local communities to achieve sustainability (i.e. social, economic and environmental balance).

Dr Flavio Coelho was awarded his BE in Mechanical Engineering from CEFETMG - Brazil. He also has a Professional Masters in Environmental Science from the IHE Delft - Netherlands and Diploma in Engineering Economy from FDC - Brazil. In 2006 he was awarded his PhD from CQU - Australia. He has twenty years engineering and consulting experience.
