Occupational Safety and Health is a cross-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goal of all occupational safety and health program is to foster a safe work environment. As a secondary effect, it may also protect co-workers, family members, employers, customers, suppliers, nearby communities, and other members of the public who are impacted by the workplace environment. Dynamic development of the different economic branches made possible as the attributed attention for the occupational safety and health, to grow for the each workplace. The book shows synthetic, in an accessibly technical language, the knowledge necessary to combating of the risk factors that belong to the work environment. More precisely, the treated aspects are: a general view about the accidents at work and occupational illnesses, problems of the industrial ventilation, noise and vibration combating and correct workplace lighting. In time is possible as the society mentality represented by employers and employees to change, so the attention will be offered to field to become higher.

Involved in many research projects.
