This book is devoted to divided wall column (DWC) design, optimization and economic efficiency assessment of DWC. The emphasis has been given to explore the energy and economic efficiency of DWC for multicomponent separation. It includes several chapters which cover DWC design, optimization, sizing and economic assessment. It starts with detail overview of DWC, its working principal and different types of distillation columns used for multicomponent distillation. Then extensive overviews of the presents work on the DWC design. DWC design method followed by detail simulation studies with case study of ternary component feed mixture. In later part of the book it describes the detailed economic evaluation of the DWC including the equipment sizing and economic assessment of DWC.

Sheraz Bashir holds a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering with specialization in process design. He published several technical papers in refereed chemical engineering journals and conference. He works as a lecturer at Department of Chemical Engineering University of Hafar al Batin, KSA.
