This book presents select proceedings of the International Conference on Industry 4.0 and Advanced Manufacturing, abbreviated as I-4AM (pronounced i-forum), a biennial conference series, which intends to provide a platform to bring together all stakeholders in manufacturing and Industry 4.0. I-4AM enables those in academia and industry, in India and abroad, to deliberate on the nature, needs, challenges, opportunities, problems, and solutions in this transformational area. The book discusses enablers for sustainable, affordable, and human-centric Industry 4.0 and showcases cutting edge practice, research, and educational innovation in this crucial and rapidly evolving area.
