The text/reference book titled Ergonomics for Occupational Seat Design is prepared for undergraduate and post-graduate students of industrial engineering, production engineering, industrial and production engineering, mechanical and industrial engineering or mechanical engineering, pursuing a one semester course on work systems design, work safety and ergonomics, work design and ergonomics, work study and ergonomics, industrial ergonomics, occupational health and ergonomics, or industrial engineering and ergonomics. The present text authors endeavor is to cover provide the basic knowledge about the seating design from ergonomic point of view. The present text is supplemented with the case studies and live examples.

Dr. Lakhwinder Pal Singh is faculty in the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. He has more than 17 years' experience in teaching and research, and has published more 50 papers, 5 book chapters, 5 books. His areas of interest are Ergonomics and SCM and OH&S.
